A charming, relaxing, beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse in the Limousin countryside of mid-west France. Situated next to the house is a beautiful woodland valley leading to the river Gartempe. There are many walks directly from the house, which range from an easy stroll to an all day hike, in which wild mushrooms can be picked. There is an abundance of wildlife, and buzzards and red kites are often seen soaring over the house along with the occasional sighting of the rare black kite and the exotic hoopoe. It really is a bird watchers paradise.
