All the switches are available at the entrance and at the head of bed. The beds are set on arrival and the bathroom linen is provided. The bed linen is recent and of good quality. For each bed, you have mattress protection, quilt, cover, 2 pillows and linen, bath towel, hand towel and glove. Two beds are equipped with comfortable foam mattress, a big sofa bed and 2 baby beds are also available, as well as all you need for the babies. On the ground floor, the ensuite bedroom has a large "Ã l'italienne" shower space (1.50 meter), a wash basin and a seat, accessible with wheelchair. On the first floor, one ensuite bedroom has a shower space and a wooden wash stand with wash basin. The bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a bath-tub and a wooden wash stand with double basin. All the bathroom and facilities are equipped with mats and grab bars. Chalet Chamonix is located on the sunny side of the Chamonix valley in a secluded quiet residential area yet is only two hundred metres by footpath from the shops, bars and restuarants in the centre of Chamonix. The chalet is set in 1000 sq metres of private lawned gardens surrounded by mature trees and hedges and has extensive uninterrupted views of both the Mont Blanc range and the Aiguilles Rouges. There is a floor area of about 150sq metre sleeping up to eight in the three bedrooms and centrally heated self contained Chalet Alpin Rose. For extra acccomodation there are also baby's cots. Chalet Chamonix has private parking for many cars.Several of the valleys ski areas are around 5-15 minutes walk away. The chalet is very well equiped for self catering, but we can also arrange a part or fully catered option.

Spacious two bedroomed ground floor apartment on the edge of the original part of the village providing a peaceful location away from the general hubbub of village life whilst still being within very easy reach of all local facilities. The lagoons are about ten minutes walk to the north of the village and the surfer's beach is about ten minutes walk to the south. With a total living space of 64 square metres, we offer more space than the average holiday let and provide ample 'elbow room' for up to six adults. The spacious living room has plenty of room for up to six adults with two three seater settees - both of which can convert into additional beds for the larger family. The two uplighters both incorporate additional individual reading lights to help when the natural light starts to fade. The television, which is tuned to local Spanish TV stations, is connected to a DVD player and a CD/tape casette/radio unit has also been provided for your entertainment whilst you are in the living room. This room faces east and therefore receives the early morning sunshine and also avoids the heat from the sun at the hottest part of the day.

Our holiday home is situated in the historic 12th century village of Cantobre, which is located in southern Aveyron in the Midi-Pyrenees region of France, and are set amidst spectacular countryside on a rocky promontory some 100 meters above the meeting of the Dourbie and Trevezel rivers. The nearest small town is the ancient commune of Nant some 6 km distant and some 25 km down the Dourbie Gorges is the large town of Millau. Beautiful and unique Cantobre is only 1 hour from the beaches of the Mediterranean and even closer to the spectacular Gorges of the river Tarn. Our holiday home, with its south facing terraces overlooking the Dourbie valley, are all located within the historic village and have been modernized sympathetically within the old village houses. La Canard is a semi-detached stone village house sleeping up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Le Canard is typical village houses. It offers great flexibility in numbers holidaying. The main house consists of a large dining sitting room with a built in kitchen and a wood burning stove and electric radiator heating. Within the main house there are two double bedrooms and a toilet shower room. All rooms have electric radiators. This house can also be made available with two additional bedrooms. The first is entered from the access to the terrace and is twin bedded with a separate toilet and shower room. The second larger bedroom is accessed from the path to the house and contains a double bed and its own toilet / shower room. This arrangement gives great flexibility when renting this property. The minimum being 2 people but with the possibility of up to 8 persons. The property has a large south facing terrace, which overlooks the village square and down the Dourbie valley. The property is semi-detached and the English owners live full time in the adjacent house.

The house is in the village of Polopos in beautiful wild hilly countryside. Polopos is a small village in the Alpujarras region of Andalucia, South from Granada. The village is set on 800m high hills,(altitude 2400 feet) about 6 miles from the sea (on a good winding road). As it is so high up, there are spectacular sea views, (on some exceptionally clear days in winter you can see the African coast), and there are massive hills, deep valleys, olive and almond trees, orange and lemon trees, vines and goats. You can walk over the hills down to the sea in about one and a half hours. If you enjoy country walking, you can find 4 walks around Polopos described with photos on www.walkingworld.com (walks 4692-4695). The house is a restored traditional cottage-style house with wooden beams and terracotta tiled and wood laminate floors. It has three rooms and a shower room downstairs and two rooms upstairs one of which opens onto a terrace about 12 foot square with a bamboo sunscreen and a panoramic view of the hills and sea. The steps to go upstairs are quite steep, (see photo). It has all basic amenities, with electric heating and butane gas heating and a wood-burning stove, and is furnished very simply, not luxuriously, with pine furniture and comfortable cane chairs and sofa and in a local style. It is perhaps more suitable for younger people (steep stairs going upstairs.). The kitchen is traditional, with a granite worktop, butane gas cooker and fridge. No TV. Although the photograph shows twin beds, these have just been replaced with a five foot double bed. The balcony can be accessed through patio style sliding doors. The balcony is the full width of the apartment offering plenty of space with table, chairs, sun loungers and a clothes airer yet still leaving sufficient room for sunbathing on the loungers provided.
